Operational jobs in travel form a vital part of the industry. The operations department are there to solve any outstanding issues during the entire customer’s experience to a high standard whilst ensuring deadlines are constantly met. In essence the operations team are the bridge between the sales and marketing and the customers experience of the product/service.
Travel Operations is a fairly broad sector but you can expect to typically be involved with arranging services, meals, transfers, flights, guides etc. Operational jobs are very rewarding but you need to be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
