Head of Sales UK – International Airline

New Frontiers are proud to be working in Partnership with our client, an international Airline.

With the continued development and success of our client, they are looking to recruit a dedicated, focused and natural leader to oversee a team of Sales professionals.

You will be taking full responsibility for the overall sales profits in the UK.

As a Head of Sales UK you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

"    To generate strategies and initiatives to increase market share and achieve revenue targets.
"    Manage the UK Sales effort to ensure achievement of the revenue sales target in accordance with company commercial and marketing objectives.
"    Anticipate competitor activities by monitoring market trends and recommending strategies in a timely manner to retain commercial initiatives and remain on target to achieve the commercial objectives.
"    To provide leadership and guidance to a commercially minded sales team.
"    Build and maintain goodwill and relationship with the Travel Agency leaders and attend industry functions on a regular basis to establish contacts, network and promote the interests of our client, out of office hours as required.
"    Prepare monthly and annual Sales & Marketing reports to ensure all departments are kept well informed of market conditions, trends and competitor activities and make recommendations as appropriate.
"    Ensure that product USPs (Unique Selling Points) and promotional plans are communicated and implemented effectively to give the greatest impact on the market.
"    To liaise with regulatory, industry and government bodies as well as being the local company spokesman when required

Head of Sales UK skill attributes:

"    Educated to at least degree level preferably in business administration or economics.
"    Strong commercial acumen and a track record of success in the sales areas of the UK

“    AIRLINE Background IS A MUST  
"    Minimum 5 years leadership experience at a senior level.
"    Knowledge of airline reservations/ticketing processes together with detailed knowledge seat price elasticity in the UK market and the associated competitive travel agency dynamics
"    Valid Driving License is essential
