The position of Travel Consultant is one which books package holidays, flights, car hire and hotels for customers as well as ordering foreign exchange and selling travel insurance. Customers may book face to face or over the telephone. Travel Consultants are employed in Travel Agencies and Call Centres of ABTA bonded companies.

To enjoy a successful career with these companies, you need to have previous work experience in an ABTA bonded travel company or have completed a travel and tourism diploma or apprenticeship and are willing to be trained.
