If you are just finishing school you have two options, go for a Travel and Tourism course at college or study with ABTAs Travel Training Programme. ABTAs training programme allows you to gain practical experience whilst studying and thereby helps you to finish the course with more marketable skills. You will also get paid (only a little - don't get too excited!).
A Travel and Tourism course at college, either alone or combined with Business Studies, offers excellent grounding to the industry with a well respected qualification. Most colleges also offer some work experience at Travel Agencies as part of the course.
