Technical Business Support Manager - Holidays

This dynamic online travel company has a unique vacancy for a Technical Business Support Manager. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day management of the holiday product across all European markets. You will liaise between the business and the technical team to drive requirements gathering for releases and bug fixes along with monitoring key metrics and taking action if needed.

As a Technical Business Support Manager you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

* Daily support in ongoing technical issues
* Set up and monitor daily key metrics for the holidays product
* Solicit input from locales regarding new projects and overall prioritization
* Ongoing training and support for markets on different sales and merchandising activities
* Act as the key business partner for pre-packaged holiday technology leads (BA, PM, App Mgrs.) and business
* Write project brief and business requirements (specifications for new features and related technology) and assist reporting manager to develop holidays and travel add-ons product development roadmap
* Champion adoption of group competitive pricing and analysis tools

Technical Business Support Manager skill attributes:

* Extensive online experience within the travel industry
* Knowledge of project management processes
* Excellent analytical skills
* Strong communication skills; verbal and written, with the ability to communicate across business and technology
* Project management in a technical environment
* Knowledge of the travel industry and technology
* Pan-European / global working an advantage
* Familiarity with analytics software such as Omniture an advantage
* Deep knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
* Fluent in a second language, written and spoken
