Health and Safety Officer


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Officer within an outstanding travel company based in London!

The role requires an experienced Hotel health and safety officer to be responsible for assisting the Hotel Health and Safety Manager in co-ordinating and controlling the Health and Safety Database, and assisting in ensuring global Health and Safety compliance from accommodation providers with whom they do business. The Hotel Health and Safety Officer will also be required to provide management reports relating to accommodation Health and Safety.


* Assisting in ensuring company Health and Safety procedures remain current and meet legal requirements and industry standards;
* Ensure the company Health and Safety procedures are fully documented, updated as necessary and assist in communicating to all staff and suppliers globally;
* Assist in maintaining the Health and Safety database and ensuring all data is easily retrievable and correct.

* Health and Safety Training and Reporting

* Assist in ensuring Health and Safety policies and procedures are in place with all suppliers

* Assist in monitoring the complaints process and the identification of Health and Safety issues;
* Liaise with Customer Care Management team

* Liaise with Sales Support Managers and Contractors to investigate and resolve any Health and Safety issues with the relevant suppliers.

* Work with management to monitor and review Crisis Response Procedures
* Assist in keeping all relevant out-of-hours information updated and relevant.
