Pricing Analyst

This leading online travel business is seeking a Pricing Analyst to enhance their car hire sector by providing quality pricing and revenue support.

The purpose of this role is to analyse the car hire marketplace and recommend pricing changes to ensure a competitive edge whilst exploiting revenue enhancement opportunities.

As a Pricing Analyst you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

* Pricing and product comparison analysis
* Product and rate administration
* Answering rate and product availability queries
* Analysing product costs by destination
* Ensuring all yield management controls are in place whilst still offering a full range of products with availability within the company's expectations
* Identifying business trends by channel
* Forecasting volume and revenue by destination
* Being aware of the company's profit targets and communicating weekly to the business
* Controlling volume beneficial to rebates or promotional offers
* Consolidating rebates and promotional information
* Communicating current business trends to the business

Pricing Analyst remuneration package:

* Basic salary Competitive
* 20 days holiday rising by one day per year to 25 days

Pricing Analyst skill attributes:

* High understanding of car rental and other travel related products, including competitors� marketing and pricing activities
* Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products
* Proven multi tasking and prioritisation skills
* Working knowledge of business reporting tools
* Previous experience of cost, margin and revenue analysis
* Proactive approach to technology development
* Good, clear communication both verbally and written
