Ski Contracts Manager � European based

Our client is a successful online tour operator, seeking an experienced Ski Contracts Manager to be based in France, Switzerland, Italy or Belgium. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to start and grow the destinations and will aggressively source and contract hotels and apartments in the major European ski resorts.

As a Ski Contracts Manager you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

* Source and contract ski, lakes and mountains hotels within designated areas
* Develop supplier relationships with local hoteliers and agents to ensure competitive rates and allocations
* Ensure all product is loaded on in-house system
* Attend international tradeshows as appropriate
* Maintain weekly reporting to the head of contracting
* Feedback regarding market trends and product needs
* Identify promotional opportunities within regions

Ski Contracts Manager remuneration package:

* Competitive Salary depending on experience
* 20 days holiday rising by one day per year to 25 days

Ski Contracts Manager skill attributes:

* Fluency in French, Italian or German is essential
* Previous experience in a hotel negotiation role within the ski market
* Experience of business proposal and tender documentation preparation
* Clear understanding of the hotel booking-systems online
* Experience working for a ski tour operator and/or ski resort
* Understanding of hotel revenue management and yield
* Knowledge of the major Ski destinations in Europe (France/Italy/Switzerland etc)
* Good hotels contact base within European Ski destinations
* A passion for Ski mountains
