Assistant Sales Team Manager � Worldwide Reservations
My client, a cutting edge leading on line company requires a focused dynamic Assistant Sales Team Manager.
Assistant Sales Team Manager Responsibilities:
Assist with management of call centre in absence of Worldwide Sales Team Managers
Assistant Sales Team Manager Purpose of role
* Achieve Sales, Margin and Gross Profit targets and contribute to the overall delivery of the clients offline sales and margin targets * To build sales through appropriate training, coaching and performance management of the teams and achieve the highest standards of customer satisfaction * To assist in driving a sales and service orientated culture aimed at building repeat and customer loyalty * To deliver sensational customer service at every single customer contact point * To minimize WRAP time and drive up Answer rate and Conversion beyond set targets
Assistant Sales Team Manager Duties:
In absence of Sales Team Managers � assist Sales Consultants with escalations to allow quicker escalations and more controlled customer path for problem resolution
Be a point of knowledge and making decisions on actions to take with customers with bookings
Train and coach the sales teams to deliver outstanding sales and customer service
Adhere to the customer contact strategy
To achieve and exceed monthly sales targets in line with departmental objectives.
Answer all calls and allocate sales according to brand
Undertake skilled offline sales of flight only, DP and packages
Contribute to a weekly team meeting communicating to team on sales performance, directive selling requirements and product promotions
Participate in �My Plan� performance management process to all staff within the team
Feedback to Sales Team Manger on the end to end processes related to offline sales in order to maximise efficiency and focus on continuous improvement
Ensure a minimum conversion of 18% is achieved each month.
WRAP Time should not exceed 35% over the month
Achieve high levels of customer service at all times.
Ensure team customer service is kept at equally high levels by treating all colleagues� customers as you would your own.
Fully utilise all training and educational experiences provided by the company to enhance customers holidays.
Ensure that all written work and E Mails are of the highest standard, accurate and grammatically correct.
Turn around any E Mails received within 24 hours.
Effectively chase all options and do not hold anything over 3 days.
Ensure accuracy on all bookings by following the fare/land product policies i.e. mark ups etc.
To accurately record all customer details for future marketing purposes
To ensure all bookings have all nett costs loaded into OPS and that any special offers are noted accordingly in the booking
Present bookings to Quality Control in the optimum condition
Deal with customer problems in an efficient and courteous manner, achieving a mutually agreeable result.
Take ownership for your own customers issues personally rather then hand to another department or manager.
Support the company in directional selling as requested by the Product department at any time.
Be punctual for each shift and follow the shift pattern accordingly.
Assistant Sales Team Manager Essential Skills and Aptitudes
* Proven sales experience * Proven sales coaching skills * Strong leadership and team building skills * Detailed Worldwide destination and tailor made sales knowledge * CRS experience (preferably Amadeus or Sabre) * Proven communication skills
