TOUR OPERATIONS RESERVATIONS MANAGER
My client, a reputable specialist tour operator is seeking to recruit an experienced Travel Reservations Sales Manager.
Working with a team of seven travel consultants the position involves pro-actively and responsibly aiming to increase sales and offer an excellent service to the customers.
DUTIES OF TOUR OPERATIONS RESERVATIONS MANAGER
*Day-to-day running of the department *Liaising via your Reservations Supervisor *Arranging rotas *Recruiting, training and motivating staff *Setting sales targets and incentives for individual and the team *Reviewing staff performance *Making sure the team is well informed of special offers, late availability, erratas, stop-sells to ensure selling and to maximise overall sales *Liaising with other departments especially operations & marketing to pursue excellent customer service *Follow up calls to clients to promote repeat business and referrals.
TOUR OPERATIONS RESERVATIONS MANAGER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*The ideal candidate MUST have previous management / team leader / supervisory experience within tour operations, or within a retail travel contact centre. *You MUST have a proven background of exceeding sales targets and increasing custom and turnover. * Consideration may also be given to retail travel managers, who can demonstrate clearly how the motivate staff to achieve and exceed sales targets.
TOUR OPERATIONS RESERVATIONS MANAGER PACKAGE
*There is a competitive and negotiable salary package available for the successful candidate, with a fantastic commission/bonus scheme. *You will be working for a market leader in their field and be �a big fish in a small pond�! * Salary will be around £20-25k depending on experience + bonuses
