Flights and Tour Reservations Manager
My client, a respected and vibrant tour-operator in the North East, is seeking a Flight and Tour Reservations Manager to manage their friendly reservations team.
As a Flights and Tour Reservations Manager you will undertake an array of tasks and responsibilities:
* Ensure that all IATA regulations are adhered to * Liaison with schedule airlines * Loading of scheduled flight IT contracts * To adhere to all ticketing procedures laid down by the airline contracts * Oversee the booking of scheduled flights for other parts of the business. . * Oversee the reservation process for the Tour operation. * Produce and distribute all relevant customer documentation * Oversee the Billing Settlement Plan * Ensure accurate computerised and manual records are kept * Produce relevant Reports and Management Information * Problem solve all general operational issues. * Supervise lead and develop the team * Manage staffing rosters and manpower planning * Ensure Key Performance indicators are met * Support the Tour Operations GM with ongoing product development.
Flights and Tour Reservations Manager remuneration package:
* £18,000 - £20,000c plus bonus * Fantastic travel benefits * 20 days holiday entitlement * Excellent training
Flights and Tour Reservations Manager skill attributes:
* An excellent knowledge of schedule flying/IATA regulations and BSP * A knowledge of BSP would be and advantage * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written * Experience of managing/supervising a team * Process oriented with perfect attention to detail * Methodical with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively * A proven ability to work to deadlines * To be a strong decision maker and effective leader * An ability to solve problems * Able to coach, train, develop and motivate a team * Passionate about customer service * AMADEUS and B.A. Level 1&2 or equivalent is essential
