UK Airport Operations Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world class blue chip travel brand to run their operations at Heathrow Airport

This position will lead a number of UK Airport operations that deliver in excess of $20M in annual revenue. As the UK Airport Operations Manager you will provide/be:

* Strategic leadership initiatives to exceed annual key performance indicators.

* Proactively understand operational challenges and enforce a controlled sales culture. This includes providing management, support and feedback across all direct reports on a consistent and frequent basis.

* Responsible for maximizing transaction profitability by leading training, recruitment & retention strategies. Full P&L responsibility throughout area of responsibility.

* Adherence to the Company�s established internal controls and compliance.

* Maintain a highly motivated and diverse team of employees and establish best in class operational efficiencies at office level.

The Airport Operations Manager position will be based at Heathrow Airport and you will have key relationship responsibilities with the BAA in addition to:


* Accounting for the day to day operations for all locations within assigned region � focusing on delivering Revenue & Pre Tax Income commitments

* Delivering a sales culture to meet or exceed the assigned regions financial budgets

* Providing effective leadership to motivate all employees to succeed by improving revenue per transaction & revenue per pax

* Maximizing investment/resource allocation to drive profitability for areas of responsibility

* Ensuring 100% financial integrity, continuous process improvement and legal compliance as dictated by Controls and Compliance

* Reducing costs by eliminating duplication efforts

* Achieving a minimum 50% Market share in operations where data is shared by airport authority



UK Airpot Operations Manager Remuneration package

* £35-£45K plus car allowance, bonus and car parking



UK Airpot Operations Manager skill attributes:

* Experience of working within an airport sales environment, and managing multiple locations or similar

* Strong business development/sales effectiveness skills

* Proven track record of driving results

* High level of ability in managing change

* Ability to establish and discuss clear objectives/goals and personal development plans for staff (communication skills)

* Collaborating and influencing others

* Strong execution abilities

* Strong team player

* An operational and Foreign Exchange background would be a distinct advantage
