A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a travel industry professional with great sales experience and the ability to speak one of the Eastern European lanaguages!
As a Business Development Manager you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
* Identifying potential new customers * Contacting existing customers in person and by phone to get feedback * Providing support to customers for product requirements, promotions etc * Reviewing customer base and proposing sales strategy for assigned territory * Providing sales forecasts, sales budget proposals and commercial proposals for customers * Core responsibility is to achieve budgeted sales within territory in line with company targets * Accountable to Director of Sales for this, but have full responsibility within territory * Making commercial decisions on a daily basis
Business Development Manager skill attributes:
* Strong commercial orientation * Extensive travel required * Negotiating ability at all levels of customer operation * Able to present and influence at board level * Fluency (written and spoken) in a foreign language where required in addition to English. Eastern European languages are considered an advantage with regard to this position * Strategic thinker * Ability to understand and communicate technology concepts to customers * Required to travel extensively to visit customers, trade shows as needed * IT literacy (MS Office)
