MANAGING DIRECTOR
Steppes Travel founded in 1989 is a privately owned and truly impressive travel organisation offering a niche product to high end clientele. As the Managing Director of Steppes Travel, you will have overall responsibility for the day to day running and further development of the company.
Reporting directly to the board and working closely with the Chairman and Finance Director, you will oversee an experienced team of 35 employees.
Skills/experience:
* You will have exceptional & extensive leadership skills * An established track record in the travel business, with proven success in marketing (direct/online) and business development * Passionate and adventurous traveller with interest in both the cultural and animal world * Good computer skills and experience of the web as a marketing tool * Charismatic and strong character as well as being a good team player and natural team leader * The successful applicant will have a degree of entrepreneurial flair who can see opportunities, evaluate and make decisions effectively.
Remuneration Package: An attractive package is on offer, including performance related bonus plus pension and medical insurance. This would be reviewed annually and increased to reflect the growth in company profits.
