Area Sales Manager, GDS
A renowned GDS supplier is urgently seeking an Area Sales Manager to be responsible for the direct sale of the company's products or services.
As an Area Sales Manager, GDS you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
* Call on prospective customers, provides technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices * To handle more critical accounts or larger territories than those of Sales Representatives. * Primary responsibility is to sell the company's products or services, and generally responsible for finding and generating new customers * Responsible for selling assigned products/services and their solutions * Establish target lists and short range strategies to attain key business plan objectives of new and conversion sales. * Develops strategic business/sales plans. * Closes sales; goal is to meet profitability and growth objectives. * Quotes and negotiates pricing options and explains contractual obligations to potential customers
Area Sales Manager, GDS remuneration package:
* Circa: 60-70k * Plus non- travel and travel related benefits
Area Sales Manager, GDS skill attributes:
* Strong Sales/ Negotiation experience gained within the travel industry, Previous GDS would be advantageous.
