New Frontiers have been given the opportunity to help thousands of young people aged between 18 - 24 year olds gain employment in the Travel & Hospitality industries through the Backing Young Britain Government initiative campaign.
Backing Young Britain is an exciting and free opportunity for you to gain valuable experience and develop new skills through internships or work experience placements. Hundreds of businesses across the UK are participating in this new government initiative. If you can demonstrate exactly the kind of skills employers are looking for, it will definitely improve your chances of getting a job! See below for some of the available opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to prove your skills to potential employers. If you do well, it could lead to a job offer – but even if it doesn’t, it’ll still look great on your CV and make you more attractive to other potential employers.
You won’t get paid, but if you’re on a 2 week experience placement you’ll stay on Jobseekers Allowance and your benefit will be unaffected. If you’re on an internship lasting between 8 – 13 weeks, you’ll move onto a Training Allowance. On the Training Allowance you’ll get an extra £10 a week. It’s not all about the money, but having relevant experience gives you a real advantage when competing for jobs.
Required Criteria:
· You should be a non – graduate aged between 18 – 24 years
· Claiming Job Seekers Allowance
· Be enthusiastic and be willing to gain new skills and experience
