Despite this sector being fairly new to the industry, it is still growing and booming with job opportunities. Jobs include planning and organising entire events or conferences from start to finish, sourcing venues, arranging catering, booking travel etc.
To work in this sector you must have excellent organisational and communication skills. The ability to work in a team, as a leader and adapt round people with different personality characteristics is vital in order to achieve and survive in this industry. You need to able to motivate team players positively and ensure deadlines are also met. Of course, previous events experience and in-depth product knowledge is also essential.
Incentives involve putting together the initial incentive maximising and driving the sales so that targets are achieved. As a result strong marketing skills are required in order to succeed.
Salary range from £15 - £30k
