Reservations
We have a wide range of reservations roles available with the most premiere travel organisations. Reservation roles are predominately telephone based working and hence you need excellent communication skills in order to correspond with the clients and address their needs.
Travel reservations can include retail operators who sell a full range of products by telephone only i.e. Thomas Cook or independent travel companies that sell all retail and tour operators i.e. lastminute.com
Many tour operators are known to sell their own brochure of products but they can offer tailor-made holidays depending on their client requirements.
Types of holidays sold by both Travel reservations & Tour Operators include Winter and Summer Sun, Ski, Adventure, Lakes & Mountains, City Breaks, Flight or Accommodation Only and Cruise to name but a few.
The skills required in these fields are obvious, nevertheless extremely essential. Clients generally require experienced travel professionals with proven sales experience along with strong product and destination knowledge. You will also have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills along with excellent customer service skills. CRS is not always essential but is preferred.
It’s beneficial to include a fully updated CV along with a comprehensive Travel profile i.e. a detailed description of destinations you have travelled to.
Salary range from £14 - £26k
