Africa Reservations Specialist – Central London

This highly successful, rapidly expanding award winning tour operator urgently requires an Africa Specialist to join their reservations team.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE TRAVELLED EXTENSIVELY WITHIN AFRICA AND MUST INCLUDE A DETAILED TRAVEL PROFILE WITH YOUR CV.

As an Africa Reservations Specialist you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

* Booking all aspects of travel to Africa
* Up-selling and adding on of ancillary products including insurance, excursions, etc…
* Dealing with the public and travel agents by telephone
* Processing efficiently all reservations
* Ensure all bookings are dealt with accurately
* Administration duties required to complete bookings

Africa Reservations Specialist remuneration package:

* Basic salary from £23000 + commission
* 20 days holiday plus public/bank holidays
* Predominately Monday to Friday rota

Africa Reservations Specialist skill attributes:

* Extensively travelled within the above countries
* Good sales techniques
* An excellent telephone manner
* Attention to detail
* The ability to meet tight deadlines
* To work under pressure whilst maintaining a focus on excellent customer service.
* Must be to work on own initiative or as part of a team
* A high standard of written English
