This is a successful luxury tour operator is seeking a Marketing Executive to join their busy team. They offer travel worldwide and are part of a fast growing enterprise which is based in Central London.


As a Senior Marketing Executive you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
• Work with graphic designers and external agencies to develop creative in conjunction with the offline communications.
• Copywriting and proofing to support internal and external communications (advertising, brochures, direct mail, press releases, etc).
• Implementing offline advertising as booked directly or through media agencies. This could be short term campaign based or more long term advertising and may include updating offers or developing creative with creative team.
• Implementation of offline elements for joint promotions with third parties including tourist boards and product suppliers as directed.
• Plan and oversee shows, exhibitions and events which the company may be involved in.
• Implement public relations strategies for the company in conjunction with the Marketing Manager, including answering daily requests from journalists, sending weekly offers for national press, planning press trips and developing content and news stories for press releases.
• Negotiate with tourist boards and suppliers to agree special offers and marketing contribution
• Consider new opportunities from an offline perspective including consumer shows and events, print advertising, direct mail and other collateral material.
• Ongoing research into new suppliers that may benefit the business and implement with Marketing Manager where agreed as part of strategy/media/campaign plans.
• Work with other members of marketing, product and creative team offering suggestions for improvements, new ideas for promotions etc.
• Assisting Marketing Manager to ensure consistency across all messaging – especially for customer facing material. Also ensure that communication is consistent with online communications and brand guidelines are maintained.
• Preparation of marketing campaign documents and ongoing management of the offline parts of these – both internal documents and third party marketing campaigns.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to co-ordinate and report all competitor analysis – marketing & pricing - in the offline space.
• Creative input, Implementation & evaluation of marketing activities including:
o On and offline advertising campaigns
o CRM campaigns including segmented e-mail campaigns, brochure launches & direct marketing activity
• Management of client database and liaison with Marketing Manager on analysis of customer behaviour.
• Monitor activity spend and liaise with media and creative agencies on a day-to-day basis in order to optimise efficiency and performance.
• Analysis of success of offline marketing campaigns and ongoing modifications where possible.

Senior Marketing Executive Skill attributes:
• Experience in a similar role is essential
• Experience in advertising, CRM and public relations essential
• Excellent communications and analytical skills (must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work off own initiative, under tight deadlines
• Ability to multitask and adapt projects to regularly changing goal posts
• Good verbal and written communication, including excellent telephone manner
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proven project/production management experience, good time management and organisational skills
• Proven experience of managing supplier relationships and directing agencies
• Experience in copywriting, preferably in a travel related role
• Good knowledge of the travel industry and its various distribution channels preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable to working with a number of different external suppliers.
