Trading Analyst

A well known tour operator is now looking to recruit an experienced Trading Analyst to provide analytical and administrative support to the air product teams. My client is looking for someone who has good fares knowledge who can interpret and manipulate data.

As a Trading Analyst you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
• Extract, manipulate and interpret BSP and airline data
• Provide interpretation to business units of data
• Provide accurate and relevant MI to assist the business in negotiating airline contracts
• Provide recommendations to assist the business in making commercial decisions
• Preparation of Weekly reports
• Preparation of Monthly divisional reports
• Weekly Airline revenue performance review and validation
• Ensure BSP Connect data is compiled in a timely and accurate manner
• Conduct ongoing competitor reviews, providing summary of key highlights & differences. Using 3rd party software (Ql2) and manual checks. To ensure we are priced competitively in the market place.
• Undertake ad hoc projects and analysis

Trading Analyst skill attributes:
• Airfare knowledge and understanding
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Knowledge of MS excel and powerpoint
• Ability to manipulate and interpret data to draw conclusions regarding the results
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
