UK Contracts Manager

As a UK Contracts Manager you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

• Responsible for all elements of ongoing account management and developing excellent client relationships with hoteliers in the UK
• Secure and negotiate competitive rates for both room only and packages
• Understand high/low occupancy periods for defined markets
• Create and maintain calendars for key events
• Set global mark up rates and decide on global display
• Co-ordinate merchandising and promotion requests for defined markets
• Negotiation with hotels on rates and availability
• Take lead on introduction of new initiatives
• Conduct extranet training
• Timely feedback regarding market trends and product needs
• Identify promotional opportunities within region
• Responsible for rate performance and compliance tracking – using available data to track

UK Contracts Manager skill attributes:
• Solid experience contracting hotel rates for a tour operator or travel company
• Negotiation and business development skills
• You will be highly organized and analytical
• Good working knowledge of all office and PC applications
• Clear understanding of hotel CRS / PMS and GDS systems
• A passion for e-commerce within the hotel/travel sector
• Excellent communicator
• Proactive team player
• Self motivated, uses initiative and problem solver
• Work to tight deadlines with a can do attitude
• Willingness to go beyond the call of duty to get the job done
