New Frontiers are now supporting our client who is looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to grow and develop profit and sales within the French Market based in City of London. As a Business Development you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
To negotiate and manage group customer account, achieve targets and objective set, to build on business within a market through personal contact, phone and regular email updates.
To explore new client and market opportunities:
o Through market research and intelligence obtained
o Through business trips and trade fair attendance
o Through close work with FIT department colleagues
To ensure that a high standard of sales service is offered at all times in line with the client SLA (Service Level Agreement)
o Immediate acknowledgement of requests
o Rapid response to hotel booking queries and requests
o Quotes assessment & offers sent as a priority
o Responding to all calls and emails within a maximum 24 hour period.
Business Development Executive skills & Requirements :
Experience/working knowledge of a sales role within the travel or leisure industry is viewed as highly desirable.
Proven commercial awareness of hotel pricing, service and travel-industry issues is an advantage, as is a wide-ranging product knowledge of leading European and Worldwide group travel destinations
Ability to drive sales strategies across travel market
Ability to negotiate with clients and internal suppliers is also essential
Fluent French language skills - essential
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and with attention to detail.
Organised & efficient approach to workloads.
Team player, with flexible and adaptable approach.
