Highly successful, luxury ski tour operator requires an experienced Sales Manager with strong European ski experience to lead, drive, train and develop their reservations team. The position is a diverse, challenging role and will include many areas of People Management, plus organisational and communication skills.
As a Ski Sales Manager you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities including:
* Responsible for the control of revenue management to cover; pricing, tactical discounting and competitor benchmarking.
* Managing a telephone sales team of five, implementing sales techniques and training as well as helping further shape their professional development.
* Responsible for flight load control to include the trading of flight seats within and outside our committed aircraft allocations and balancing flight/ bed ratios.
* Ensuring the smooth running of all administration at the London sales office and relationships with other departments.
* Maintaining and building upon crucial trade relationships.
Ski Sales Manager remuneration package:
* Basic salary from £30000 + bonus scheme
Ski Sales Manager skill attributes:
* A highly skilled salesman with excellent personal communication skills, a high level of commercial acumen and a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service.
* A natural leader with the ability to inspire and train.
* Highly motivated with good time management skills and strong organisational ability.
* Proven telesales ability and telesales team management with a thorough knowledge of the UK ski market.
* Proven record of strong revenue management skills and exposure to flight seat contracting and load control.
* Having a proactive approach is also needed. This is a position with a lot of potential for a correct candidate who can Multi- Task and has a true desire to succeed.
