We are seeking an experienced contracting / account manager to successfully maintain and grow business by analyzing account potential. The right candidate will be able to initiate, develop and implement strategies to maximize savings for the client and revenues for our company. This position provides relationship management, business analysis, market surveys and operational support for all aspects of account management.

As an Contract/Account Manager you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:


  • Conducts market research, property analysis and market surveys consistent with customer requirements.
  • Develops, manages and renews hotel contracts on behalf of clients.
  • Tracks and identifies savings and revenue potential in accounts by studying current business and identifying and evaluating additional needs/opportunities
  • Initiates account management process by building relationships and qualifying potential.
  • Develops account loyalty by making presentations, explaining/ensuring knowledge of products, service enhancements and additions and introducing new products and services.
  • Supervise other employees assigned to your accounts when appropriate.
  • Evaluates the results of current products, identifies unmet customer needs, monitors competitive products, analyzes and relays customer reactions and shares all acquired knowledge with the Account Management team and Upper Management.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accomplishing new and different tasks and by exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Procurement professional experienced at risk analysis, customer/client management an procurement process management
  • Strong negotiation skills, contract management experience and understanding of finance for procurement
  • Understanding of supply base analysis and supply chain analysis

Contract/Account Manager Skill attributes:


  • Hotel Contacting, travel or aviation experience preferred


  • Excellent people skills and a customer-focused approach to establish partnerships/alliances
  • Excellent time management and follow-up skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and work on a comprehensive team
  • Ability to plan well and take initiative

  • Bi- or multilingual preferred. Preferred languages include Spanish, French, German, Chinese and Japanese.
