New Frontiers rated #1 travel recruitment site

We are proud to report that the New Frontiers website in the first round of voting in the Travelmole Awards (read Travelmole article here)

New Frontiers were voted the 4th best travel website overall (from 300 sites!) and received many lovely comments from the people that matter - you!  (see below).

Thanks to everyone that voted!  The Final is on the 24th June - fingers crossed!

New Frontiers celebrates NVQ training partnership

A double celebration in Yorkshire!

New Frontiers attended the grand opening of Intraining's (very swanky) new offices in Sheffield on Friday 3rd April.  The event was very well attend with over 100 guests present from a wide range of companies.

New Frontiers also formalised the strategic partnership with Intraining to promote the take-up of Government funded NVQ Apprenticeships.  This new service offers clients the opportunity to enable employees to gain a National Vocational Qualification - while they work! NVQ Training is a great way to help boost staff expertise, confidence and commitment - and best of all its fully funded by Government!

Julia win's Entrepreneur of the Year

New Frontiers’ Founder and Managing Director, Julia Feuell’s hard work paid off as she was awarded the prestigious Shine Award for Entrepreneur of the Year 2008. 


The Shine Award for Entrepreneur of the Year is given to the person the judges think has achieved demonstrable and sustainable business success in travel, tourism and hospitality. “We are looking for women that have set up their own business with a 50% minimum share and have achieved this by harnessing not only their own talent, but that of their teams by promoting personal and professional development and a mentoring culture.”

Of Julia, the judges said - “Julia has been running New Frontiers for fifteen years, growing the business to a very healthy turnover of £4 million by placing thousands of travel people into jobs. Julia has been running the business while also raising her two boys, now 14 and 17 years old. Julia is also a frequent speaker at industry events and is past chair of AWTE.”

“I’m humbled to be acknowledged in such a way- especially by my peers...I’ve been in the business for many years and this really means a lot to me. But it also reflects on the superb team I’ve built around me, and they can share this success too.” said Julia
