New Frontiers have entered into an agreement with www.tchc.net to bring you the opportunity to benefit from up to £1000 free training through a scheme called R2R.

Learn Galileo, Sabre Worldpsan or Amadeus - fully funded!!

Eligibility

The R2R project is supported by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the East of England Development Agency (EEDA). It offers services to people whose jobs are at risk, who may live within or outside the region but are employed by public and private sector organisations at a location in the East of England (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk but excluding the London boroughs in Essex and Hertfordshire).

The main aim of the programme is to provide support for people who are under threat or notice of redundancy. To be eligible you must be aged 16 or over. You must be “signed on” to R2R before your leaving date. You may be resident outside the East of England area, but must be working at a location in the East of England as described above.

What R2R can offer you

R2R offers all those eligible a free one-to-one Information and Advice session, lasting around an hour. This is run with a professionally trained careers adviser, and aims to:

  • assess your current skills
  • explore your future career options
  • identify any training needed to improve your existing skills or help you to change career direction.

R2R also offers a range of workshops to help you develop some essential skills and techniques for getting back into employment, for example, writing a c.v, preparing for interview and tips on jobsearch. These are normally organised and run by your careers adviser at your employer’s premises, so if you are seeking support on an individual basis it is difficult for R2R to offer this part of the service.

If your one-to-one Information and Advice session identifies training to help improve your job prospects R2R can support one training episode at a cost up to £500.  This money could cover online training which we offer such as Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre or Worldspan.

What do I have to do?

Simply call TCHC on 01923 698 457 or email R2R@tchc.net and they will take it from there and show you how to get your free trianing.
