Coming to the UK
|
Welcome to the UK!! If you're looking to base yourself here whilst travelling around Europe or if you're about to immigrate here, we've put together some helpful tips to help you get settled as fast as possible.
Working in the UK
Worked in the travel industry and looking to work in the UK? We have many temporary travel assignments paying up to £12 per hour (depending on location and experience) from one week to one year.
Need a visa to get started? Go to www.amblercollins.com to get help and advice on what you will need. Please note that if you already have a two year working visa, you may only accept temporary employment. If you have a four year ancestry visa, you may accept either temporary or permanent employment.
Now you need a bank account. These can sometimes be tricky to get, however when you're working for New Frontiers, we can give you a letter of introduction.
Finally don't forget to get your tax back! Did you know that most working visitors can reclaim tax when they go back home. Find out about it at www.ess.ie
Living in London and the UK

Grooving in London
There are so many places to go and see and do, it's best to pick up any free magazine available outside most tube stations.
You could try this cool website - www.partyparties.co.uk The site has a search facility to find your favourite party places, entertainment and activities from nightclubs, restaurants, pubs/bars to days out and theme parks.
Why not try www.lastminute.com too. You can buy tickets to shows, gigs, clubs and concerts at the click of a button.
